my 2-page character sheets

On Puget Sound

First Post
Two things led to this design:
1. printer ink is expensive
2. several of my players are new to the game and/ or easily overwhelmed by too much information

These are custom made for each character; you'll see differences in format for characters with a lot of minor/ triggered powers, and for those with spellbooks. It takes a bit of time, but once made they are easy enough to update. The characters are actually made using the CB, and then "condensed" into Excel while referring to the CB sheet in a second window. I offer them here as templates or starting points for people who would like to make their own 2-page sheets. I've used these for characters as high as level 7, so far.

Nice! Very compact.. :)

Since we are in a sharing mood, here are mine, not so compact but does the job :

I use the 2page tool here with the .dnd4e file of my character One-page 4e character sheet – free tool! | Online Dungeon Master
I find the cards are better (imho!) then the CB
Here is an example with my 18th level Gnome Psion

Next, i create a "TTR" sheet ("things to remember") with all my important class/race features, feats and items with "always on" properties
example, for my psion : http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1514300/JF Campaign/TTR Glimtwiss Lazam.pdf
Here is a blank one to create your own TTR : http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1514300/DM/Sheets/TTR Blank.odt

And finaly, my HP/HS/GOLD/ITEM sheet here :

Here is the .xls version for your mods http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1514300/DM/Sheets/HP-HS-Gold-Items.xls
