My bleeping knee hurts.

A little less than a year ago I bleeped up my knee and had to get surgery to replace my ACL. I've done physical therapy on and off -- more off lately, unfortunately, though I've been trying to fix that. Today I did just a little -- wall-squats -- and bleep, my knee bleeping hurts.

I was going to jog. I'm not sure I'm up for that now.

Ouch. You ever try elliptical exercise machines (or are they even the right kind of exercise)? I find that they're a lot smoother and easier on the joints than jogging, stair climbers, etc.

The best low-impact cardio is swimming. I run a LOT and swimming destroys me.

I'm wary of ellipticals because they can still put pressure on your knees, although it's not impact like running.

If you run a lot and feel pain, something is wrong, most likely with your shoes and/or stride. Go to a specialist or a good running store and get some proper instruction. The way you run has a huge impact (no pun intended).
