in British slang, bugger is something you can do to another person... but grandma wouldn't want me to say more than that.

My Mom has been dating a guy that has been a family friend for forty odd years, I was raised off and on with his sons. Today Mom told me that his youngest son (30 something might actually be closert to 40ish) was missing sense X Mas. Messages left on the 24th have gone unanswered. No one has dropped by his house to check on him and no one seems greatly interested in checking saying things like- "if something has happened someone would have called."

Unfortunately everyone thinks like that now a days. Unfortunately I have no idea where he lives, and have no time to go check. Also we never got along (he use to beat me up when we were kids, least 'til I choked him out with a leather belt and a sleeping bag).
