My cat has died and it hurts very much

I'm really sorry to hear that, Darkness. I myself have a cat who'll be turing 16 in April, and she's not in the best health. Eyes\Ears\Nose\Legs are all going at various rates. Cat's really are the best, and I know how much it'd hurt to lose my Nosey :)

I'll have a shot with you, Darkness. My cat is far from me now, in another state, keeping my mother company. I've lost four cats before, and I can imagine how you feel. Just remember how much joy your cat brought you, and never forget the memory.

We all know how imperious cats can be. Never around when you call them, but smart enough to be there when you need them.

Goodnight. To those we love. *drinks*

I know what pain I'd be in if I lost Quesse, our cat. I am close to you, but I'll try to be close the way a cat is. Never intruding, but present.

May life grant you soon relief from this pain, and may Bastet grant your friend a good hunt beyond the veil.

And try to keep the Vodka at an acceptable level.

Darkness - deepest sympathies. We lost one of our cats back in November in an RTA. I'm sure all the pet owners here on the boards can understand the pain your in.

All the best,
Don

Sorry for your loss. :(

My cat is 14 years old and I've known him since he was a week old. When held him in the palm of my hand, and even when I had been a dog person all my life, I knew he was mine right then and there. I call him my faithful companion. I know I'll go totally mental when it's his time to go. He still acts spry as a kitten and revels in meowing me to wake everyday.

Pets are good for the soul.

Darkness, I'm so sorry. Sal, my little maine coon, has been the one constant thing in my life for the last ten years, and I would go insane if anything happened to her. She'll be ten next week.

Lately I've been exasperated with her because she keeps jumping in my lap and getting in my way when I'm on the computer. But your loss has inspired me to home tonight and give her a big hug and spend some quality time with her.
