The point is that without any reference to you, or any previous interaction with you, several people who don't even know anything about you other than your first post in this thread find your stance to be so hilariously funny that they can't help but be doubled over with laughter.

Now, you can scream about previous arguments you have had with me, and dodge and weave all you want, but that doesn't change the fact that by ascribing such importance to something that is inherently unimportant* like the integrity of your setting, you set yourself up as being a really funny high priest of pretentiousness and self-delusion to people completely unrelated to those issues.

In point of fact, I didn't even connect you to your alternate identity from the Wizards boards. You can come up with self-inflating conspiracy theories on this all you want, but it doesn't change the fact that your history as Bendris Noulg, has nothing to do with the response you got here.

And with that, I'll go back to having nice discussions with people who aren't too busy gazing at their own pseudo-high art.

And why is that important? You are never better than your last post anyway. The day we start to care about post count is the day we stop using EN-Boards. Some boards, that I don't use, translate the post count into a title or something. This invariably leads to short or blind posts devised solely to up the post count. I certainly hope that won't happen here.

Perhaps you mean previous contact when you say post history. I realise that it's easier to trust someone whom one have interacted with before. However, that mustn't be a requirement.

Because someone whose one and only post is essentially a flame is not to be taken seriously. Some people flame on occassion, miced in with other posts. There is some credibility built up there.

But if someone's only post is a flame, I find that to be a person not really worth caring about.
