My DVR-crashed--anyone happen to have 4th season Smallville or JLU saved?

Actually, I believe that sharing stuff like that might not be quite legal, even if no money is exchanged. I don't know how that works. It is a bit different then someone buying a DVD set and lending it to someone afterall.

The legality of sharing broadcast media is an area of grey legality. It is legal to use and transmit material on a PVP network. So it's not something I would worry about. If you were talking about movies or music it is nominally illegal, but I've not heard of any rulings to that effect for broad cast TV materials.

Bit Torrent is probably your best bet for finding those series. A web site called SuperNova.org is probably your best bet for the torrent files. At least according to what's on that site everything is 100% legal.

If your concience really bothers you, just buy the boxed sets when they are released in a few months.

We own Smallville seasons 1-3 boxed sets, I just lost all my saved stuff that the kids like to rewatch NOW .

Looking to get a TIVO soon; I'd send them on if I had the ability. JLU has been in reruns for quite some time now, so you might be able to find the episodes you missed at another time slot.

Yeah, I did not know how that all works out to be honest. I just didn't want some poor kids dadless because he borrowed a few episodes of Teen-Superman. Not that there's anyone here that would hurt poor MEG Hal...and not that the government isn't spying on us...They never do that...
