You see what looks to be a large mithral snake in from of you, where its mouth should be you see what looks to be six long tubes that spine and whine as it moves forward.

Like many constructs that where made during that last war by house cannith, it was built for war. In theory, this creature would take the place of archers, but in fact, it did not have the range to do so. Still it was found devastating to troops at close range.

Built to repair themselves in the midst of combat they proved there worth in many battles. During one of the battles for cyre it was said that 1 of these creatures stopped three squads of enemy troops before it fell from too much damage. There worth in combat has proved to be a good thing for cyre. Well it did until the mourning happened anyway. Now most of them wonder the mournlands. The way of their creation was thought to have been lost, now someone in sharn has built a machine that can built one a week. It is not known who or what that person has planed to use them for.

They understand basic orders from their maker.

Combat
Blasting there targets with there spikes is there main form of attack, but they will let lose there chain gun when facing more then one opponent.
Spike (Ex): This ranged attack has a range of 60 feet and does 2d4+2 points of piercing damage.
Chain Gun (Su): Every 1d4 rounds a chain snake can let lose a wave of spikes. The chain snake makes a ranged touch attack to every one in a 60-foot cone. If it hits, they take 2d4 points of piercing damage. Ranged attack bonus +5.
Chain Strike (Su): Every 1d6+1 rounds a chain snake can fire a chain of spikes at one target. A chain snake can attack one target 1d4+1 times with its spike attack, so long as the target is within 30 feet.

Construction
A chain snake’s body is sculpted from 1,000 pounds of pure mithral, smelted with rare tinctures and admixtures costing at least 5,000 gp. Assembling the body requires a DC 15 Craft (armorsmithing) check or a DC 15 Craft (weaponsmithing) check.
CL 4th; Craft Construct, Bull’s Strength, Cat’s Grace, Repair Moderate Damage*, caster must be at least 4th level; Price 90,000 gp; Cost 45,000 gp + 3,600 XP.

After seeing how well the chain snake did in combat house cannith went to build a better version in hopes it could save more cryen lives. The first few that where build got done about the time some people in house cannith started working on developing a construct that could change tactics on its own not when told to. Knowing that there project was close to being shut down they tried to finish the project and then make the schema for them as fast as they could. In turn they my have rushed a little two fast and made to schema’s and in turn lost one some how. Both of them contained info on how to build an elderitch machine that could mass-produce the weakest of them. Also it gives the plans on how to build the dire chain snake, ad its even said that they both have planes on how two build a type of chain snake that never got built.

Construction
A dire chain snake’s body is sculpted from 10,000 pounds of pure mithral, smelted with rare tinctures and admixtures costing at least 10,000 gp. Assembling the body requires a DC 20 Craft (armorsmithing) check or a DC 20 Craft (weaponsmithing) check.
CL 12th; Craft Construct, Bull’s Strength, Cat’s Grace, Repair Critical Damage*, Protection from Energy, caster must be at least 4th level; Price 100,000 gp; Cost 50,000 gp + 4,000 XP.

Can you take a wild gues where I got the idea of these things from?

I can I could even take one of your none done Construct ideas and do it for you. I need to get my monster making back on track and plus it would be a nice thing to for anyone that gets it right.
