KenM said:After seeing Return of the King:. I can accept the eagles in the movie.I thought the eagles were used alot better in the movie then the book. They had a much better entrarnce, and they fight the fell beasts for awhile, so it makes more sense for them to look for the two hobbits, since they are already there. The book makes it sound like the eagles just show up to rescue them out of no place.

dagger said:KenM, you honestly might possibly need a re read of the Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. If none of the very well done posts above don't make you see how clearly why, the eagles in the books are used they way they are.
