My next project (#5)!

Bah, obviously their LA must be beyond +20 - that's why it was omitted. ;)

Ahem, seriously, I think the new Skills entry is good. LA should be +2, possibly a strongish +1. They seem a bit better than gnolls, which are +1 iirc with fewer plusses t stats, but with natural armor.

The new Skills looks good. And I'd lean towards +2 for the LA -they get bonuses to all but one ability score, which is way better than any LA +1 creature out there.

Demiurge out.

Skills: * A TRACKER has a +5 racial bonus on Survival checks when using its Track feat.

A group of TRACKERs have the option of combining their efforts into a single Survival skill check using the Aid Another action (see Player's Handbook, Chapter 4) when tracking.

I'd been careful with Aid Another - they only have to make a DC 10 check and counting their +5 racial bonus they are on +7 before rolling. However if you read the Aid Another action (below - my emphasis), you limit the number of TRACKERS able to assist.

Aid Another
You can help another character achieve success on his or her skill check by making the same kind of skill check in a cooperative effort. If you roll a 10 or higher on your check, the character you are helping gets a +2 bonus to his or her check, as per the rule for favorable conditions. (You can’t take 10 on a skill check to aid another.) In many cases, a character’s help won’t be beneficial, or only a limited number of characters can help at once.
In cases where the skill restricts who can achieve certain results you can’t aid another to grant a bonus to a task that your character couldn’t achieve alone.

I'd just place an arbitrary limit on how many can help. You can't have the whole band of 100 tracking the same critter, gaining a +198 bonus for the 100th guy!

well, how hard would it be to hide from 100 trackers? ;) pretty damned hard!

what would be a good limit then, 10?

Well, since they're Medium, and only 8 Medium critters can surround a 5-foot-square, I'd go no higher than 8. That's alot of folks croweded around a set of tracks.
