My players need nookie. Any ideas?

Am I the only one bothered--to say nothing of revolted beyond all measure--that we're apparently talking about a campaign in which rape is a form of "seduction" that is acceptable to both the DM and at least one of the players? Frankly, the OP has a lot worse problems that not knowing how "to RP romance."

The entire thing is disgusting. I don't care if it's "just a game," some things are simply not appropriate.

Amen, Ari!

This thread has made me laugh all the way through. Especially the serious responces. I would rage hard if I met this guy in real life, so thank god this is the internet.

This thread is now about assigning costs, item levels, and associated bonuses with different types of trophy wives.

Hey. Let's not be sexist or crass here.

We can easily assign costs to trophy husbands as well, as well as concubines of every gender and sexual orientation.

What does the enhancement bonus of a magical trophy mistress help a character out with? Which item slot do you equip a giggalo of wild panting to?

Also, it's a known fact Nookie provides you with 1d6-1 slack.

I don't think charming someone is the same as rape/Rohypnol - it makes someone friendly & helpful, but they still won't do something that they would never do if it was not in effect. In the Ptolus setting, its illegal to cast such spells on people in any case, institute the same (perhaps as a hurried passed by-law) for your campaign is my recommendation.

It is still definitely extremely sleazy and should result in ridicule and consequences from the victims & their families.

That has been my approach with Charm Person. One time in my Wilderlands campaign a Wizard PC cast cp on a randy female pirate NPC, and he had to practically peel her off him and politely decline her advances while professing mutual admiration, but that's not what normally happens. CP makes the NPC friendly, not mind-dominated, and not necessarily sexually attracted to the PC. It sounded like the OP was treating it as an auto-seduce though, hence the rohypnol analogy.

It's still using an external and unasked-for force to alter their mind to exploit their body. That makes it just as immoral as rohypnol.

EDIT: We still haven't addressed the item slot question regarding where one equips a giggalo.

What Ari said. This thread's one of those that makes me hover between outrage and sheer disbelief.

Via d20SRD's Charm Person Entry:

"This charm makes a humanoid creature regard you as its trusted friend and ally (treat the target’s attitude as friendly)."

While it is not an amnesia inducing muscle relaxant, it is definitely a manner that would unduly turn more pliable toward advances of the caster. It can be abused, as various drugs used for date rape can be, thus the analogy, amplified by the use of silent, too.

Whether or not someone might sleep with the PC is irrelevant, as the usage of an undue influence, Charm Person, to make them more pliable or likely to sleep with them is wrong, as with date rape drugs. The implication by the OP is quite clear, trollish or not, thus why a few folk look at the whole thing with a bit if disdain.

My thoughts on this are that if you cast Charm person on an 83 year old woman she is going to give you some cookies and a silver piece to get yourself a proper meal, not jump on you. Similarly, if you cast it on a woman who's not attracted to you, she's going to be giving you the "I don't want to endanger our [fake, magically induced] friendship" speech.

Charm person should be no more effective than taking someone out for a meal, with flowers, chocs and half a bottle of red plus some nice conversation.

But that may not be how its being used in the OP's games...

Afterwards of course, the target may (not entirely unjustly) feel they've been taken advantage of, if they work out what happened.

Is this worth a forked thread?
