Is, I think, going to be awesomely fun

It's going to be a crazy space-faring pulp adventure with space pirates and magical guns. I'm using a Grim Tales base, with Mythic Earth magic, Iron Kingdoms gods, and Arsenal guns. My youngest brother is playing a slick, tuxedoed warrior who fled his icy homeworld after killing someone in a duel. I'm going to be a fanatical ex-space pirate follower of Menoth, and I'm not sure who else is coming in.

It's gonna be loads of fun!

I'm not sure what starship system I'll be using. Probably Star Wars, because it's what I've got I'll probably be using Star Wars droids, too. Factory's robots kinda leave me cold.

If your group is going to be a starship crew or anything like it, might I recommend that you take a looksie at Traveller d20? It's my favorite starship combat system because it gives the whole crew something to do during combat, not just the pilot and gunners.

I say you should use the Star Trek RPG. It's by far the most realistic and completely balanced space system out there.....


But in all seriousness, take a gander at the Serenity RPG. It's got some really neat space rules, and the system just rocks in general.

Well, I don't usually do anything so formal as a primer, but for you, I'll give it the ol' college try

I won't be buying any new books, sadly, as I am saving up so that next year I can live on-campus.
