My Wishlist for Erik Mona

Hmm..."Hollow Earth d20" could be an expansion of sorts to the Pulp Heroes game. Or to the hypothetical Steampunk game.

I'm not overly familiar with the furries genre (although I know that when it spills over into live-action role-playing, bad things happen). But for six bucks, I'd give it a look. The beauty of d20 Polyhedron. I've been threatening for some time to play a talking bear in a conventional D&D campaign. This would actually be fairly portable --- deep in the forest of Campaign World X, talking racoons and bunnies struggle to survive...

Man, d20 has so much potential. It's like GURPS, only good.

Actually you could do this right now! Oriental Adventures offer ratmen and chimp people. Green Ronnin offers an Oreintal suppliment that introduces badger and tiger people as well. My group has been thinking about a OA group that would be all furry.

Y'know, I was still in school when I started this thread...

Neo, pleased to meet you.

I flipped through "Sidewinder" the other day --- looks like a pretty solid effort at a d20 Western. Of course, since it's d20, I assume most folks will eventually give in to tempation and have the cowboys fight a dragon or a steamtech AT-AT or something...

Eventually, I would love to run a campeign where people keep going through portals to alternate universes- fantasy, western, sci-fi, superhero- etc. It could be a lot of fun. D20 makes it more accessable as a gm.

Luchad20 - The game of masked heroes of the ring! :)

Now, that WOULD be a game that either tanked outright, or had a grass roots following...

How about "Friends" the d20 game? I figure Monica should be at least a CR5 encounter all by herself...

But seriously, I would love to see a mini-d20 game covering something Mecha oriented...

Some of you will be pleased with the next Polyhedron.

I'm about 90% finished editing a Mini-Game by Dave Noonan (Pulp Heroes). The game is tentatively titled: "MECHA CRUSADE."

Fun giant robots.

Explosions.

PS> I've got three other games currently in development. I'm confident that all three of them are more or less "unique" to RPGs. Can you guess what they are?

Just want you to know, Eric...

You are a tease. :P

Polyhedron mini-games are the best part of my magazine subs. I've had to buy two different copies of Pulp Heroes, because I wore the first one out.

I don't know what it is but it better be Steampunk d20!

That or Cyberpunk d20.

Or...Ok. I give up.
Stop being such a tease and tell us.

P.S. > Did I mention that I would really like Steampunk d20? Why don't you sick someone on that project. Pronto! Stephen Kenson perhaps? And don't wuss out in the art department. Kalman all the way!

Hmmm. Okay, as long as I ignore your comment about "uniqueness"!

1 - Scooby Doo RPG, with the names cleverly disguised. Play the part of a member of a Mystery Inc. franchise! Wear an ascot, lose your glasses, get captured by a bad guy, plan improbably traps, eat giant sandwiches, and talk with a speech impediment. What could be better?

2 - Suspicion. Welcome to Beta Facility! Here, the Network is your acquaintence, as your backups cleverly try not to get sued by Greg Costikyan while shooting commie mutant infiltrators. :D

3 - Militia. You were sure the world was going to end in 2000. In fact, you counted on it. Now you're stuck up in Montana with a bomb shelter, a whole lot of freeze-driede peas and a big 'ole cellar of guns. It's up to you to fulfill your dream!

So, how'd I do? *grin*

D20 Boot Hill

Should the PTB ever decide to do a Western d20 mini-game in Polyhedron (and yes, it should be called Boot Hill), I would like to see a poster-sized map of Promise City, redrawn at d20 scale.

I love Sidewinder, but it would be cool to see a Wizards-designed take on a Western d20 game.
