D&D 5E Name a technique or design choice that your group enjoys, but that is generally unpopular.

These are admittedly experimental, but the purpose of my 5e game is in large part to test out some house rules, and the players knew this coming in.
Pretty much what I was expecting as a response. I just started a low magic campaign and limited the spell casting class to bard. The player can select which ability score to be their spellcasting ability and can select spells from any spell list. I'm sure it will evolve over the course of the campaign, but I wanted to limit classes and spellcasting in general. Per the narrative spellcasters arent arcane or divine necessarily so Bard seemed like the best choice.
