Name one thing you love and one thing you hate about 4e D&D

Love: The balance of the new classes, the focus on tactics and team play, the new combat powers.

Hate: The new feats. In 3x I always agonized over what feats to take. In 4e, I just don't care. Not many of them pull me.

Love:
There are many things I love about 4e, but the biggest part has to be the ease and fun of DM'ing, that's the biggest thing they did right.

Hate:
My main beef with 4e is that I feel limited in character creation. I don't know if this is due to lack of options that will be resolved with some splatbooks or of it is actually the stuff like the profession skills and other such background stuff that went the way of the dodo, that make me feel this way, but it's there...

Love:
As DM: Reduction in prep time
As Player: tactical combat (I also wargame :))

Hate:
As DM & Player: Many combats go on for too many rounds. I am dreading combat against epics, esp elites and solos!

Love (among many things):
The monster rules, especially the creation ones.

Hate (I guess I would call it hate):
I was used to the plethora of options available in 3.5e. I hate that I have to wait for 4e to get to the same level.

Love
The focus on teamwork on the players side; The ease of running the game on the DM's side.
Loathe
The gamist mentality that permeates large elements of the new edition.

Best Regards

Love: Combat options.

Hate: Sloppy writing. It is sloppy, for example, to say that demons are fearless and do not care about survival, and then, a couple of paragraphs later, to say that demons are motivated by fear and the will to survive. Or, for example, to name a paragon path Pathfinder and to claim for it the ability to find paths in a superior manner, and yet fail to write in its ability list any ability that helps to find paths. Examples are numerous.

Love - The warlock

Hate - Really weak multiclass rules which 1) limit character creation options and 2) make classes (and roles) feel like straight jackets.
