I am looking a movie or tv-movie that the only scene I can remember is that kid was trying to escape from inside a safe.

Did it look like the kid was put in there against his will (as if a prisoner in the safe)? Or did it look like he was in there with loot trying and locked inside trying to get out?
If it's the later, the only one that comes to mind at the moment is Oceans Eleven where it wasn't quite a child but a really small asian acrobat that stuffed himself inside a cart that was put in a safe and then he escaped to let his friends in after the safe was sealed.
Any other details you can remember from the scene? Was the kid a boy or girl or any ethnicity that you recall, etc... or approximate age group? etc. Did it look like a bank safe? A low quality grainy type film or do you remember details and the image clearly?

The scene was that he was trying or practicing to escape from a safe by use mathematics. It was like the kid wanted to be the next Houdini.

Ok I found it, it was a movie called The Escape Artists, which I got the scene mixed up where he was only trying to break in a safe to steal not not out. Thanks for the help.
