It could be made, but I'd argue that the Shapeshift ability is more akin to Change Shape than to Alternate Form, because the Druid "can choose the exact look" of its form each time. Alternate Form limits you to a fixed number of specific forms, while Change Shape allows infinite variety of form within fixed parameters -- as does Shapeshift.StreamOfTheSky said:Yes, but AFAIK, the latest round of Wildshape rules basically calls it "like alternate form, except for these differences...", so an argument could be made to let the PH2 version count, too. Especially since the DM was ok with it for Nature's Warrior.
