NCAA: Dayton Flyer love?

OK, now I feel like the only one giving the Flyer love!

UD crushed the Bonnies 78-48 last night. Largest margin of victory all year.

The Flyers will need everyone's support as they take on Temple tonight. A lot of buzz around Temple with Chaney so this might be a "win it for the coach" scenario for them. Games are televised on the Atlantic 10 Network which has been shown on Fox Sports Ohio.

This summer I will probably be living in the Bellmont district. Right now im living across the street from Flanigans Pub on Stewart St. Im all about getting together although Ive never been to a Gameday. GOGO UD

I'm getting tired of the "kiddie corp" lable being used by the announcers, but for most of the first half the Flyers have shown their tournament inexperience. They were down as much as 20 in the first half. Fortunately they have started to bring it together and are only down 12 at the half- 28-16.

I hope everyone is watching and rooting them on!!!

Final

I won't bother with the score as it will be bloated after the foul shots by Temple. Well, UD couldn't climb out of the hole they put themselves in. They came to within four but Temple was too strong. Maybe they'll get into the NIT.

Keep a close eye on this team though, they were very young this year and won a lot more games than expected.

The retired nuns I had in grade school could have beaten St. Bonnie's . . .

As for Temple, well, this year has been some of the worst officiating in the A-10 I have ever seen.

As far as a game day, I am certainly up for it. Just let me know and I would be happy to run something. I can do D&D, Cthulhu, Paranoia, just about any Supers Game and a variety of other interesting things. Not only that but I can bring some gamers to the proverbial table.
