NE vs. N (FFA): Very Young Tarterian Dragon vs. Adult Ethereal Dragon

Round 56

OOC: The drow has only 3 doses of poison, which he can distribute to his weapons as he wishes before he enters the arena. So please designate which weapons are poisoned before taking your next action. You mean 60N55E.

The wolf charges to 55N50E and chomps the drow. (Rolled 21+2 for charge = 23)

7 points of damage! OOC: I guess you don't have to worry about the poison after all!

Round 57: The drow is defeated!

Next up for NE: a minor flame snake. (FF)

The snake goes first in round 57.

A long, thin snake with orange and red scales slithers into the arena. The reddish glow of extreme heat emanates from its serpentine body as it streaks back and forth across the arena floor. The flame snake rushes towards the wolf, faster than one would think possible for a creature of its size. It reaches the wolf and, like a lightning bolt, strikes at the canine, mouth opened wide to display two sharp fangs.

Entering at 55N0E and charging to 55N50E for a bite attack at +9 for 1d4+1 plus 1d6 fire plus poison.

The bite attack is at +3+2 (for charge) = +5, which is good enough, hitting (total roll is 14). The wolf takes 4 from the bite and 4 fire damage, leaving it at -6 HP and dying. The snake is at 55N50E.

A dromedary (one-humped) camel enters the arena, charging to attack. Gansk will have to elaborate on that, because I do not have Sandstorm.

Yes, you did. Thanks, Arnold.

The camel charges to 60N55E and bites the snake (rolled 19+2=21 for charge) for 5 points of damage. The snake is at 0 HP. Go ahead, snake. You have one final attack, if you want.

Poor snakey...

With it's dying breath, the flame snake lunges at the camel, mouth open and fangs bared. It's life expended, it slumps to the ground, dead.

Desperation does wonders. The snake hits (rolled 13) for 2 points of bite damage and 1 point of fire damage. The camel fights off the poison (rolled 14 Fort save). The camel has 16 HP left.

Next for NE is a kenku sneak (MM III). If you do not have the MM III, I can E-mail you stats for the camel and we can switch.

(Komodo has spoken to me from the great beyond, so I will post for him, as requested.)

A birdlike humanoid holding a shortbow comes into the arena and moves to 5N150E. It has russet feathers, a large beak, and two other weapons at its side. It fires, missing (rolled 7).
The camel charges to 10N20E and bites air (rolled 3+2=5 for charge). Go ahead, Kenku.

The bird-man hops backwards and falls into a rolling dodge. Out of the camel's reach, it continues to withdraw, then knocks another arrow and fires it at the animal.

Tumbling to 10N0E and attempting to evade the camel's AoO (Tumble +5), moving to 20N0E, and firing an arrow.

Sorry about that. Bird-man was at 5N15E.

Bird-man has a hitch in his rolling dodge (rolled 14 on Tumble check), but the camel missed (rolled 3). Bird-man hits (rolled 16) with the arrow, inflicting 2 points of damage. The camel has 2 HP left.
The camel moves to 10N5E (note the camel is large) and almost bites itself (natural 1).

Are you going to keep tumbling half movement to the north, while firing? If so, I can time compress.
