The frogs dodge the yeth hound's teeth. (Rolled 10)

Round 269: The frogs converge and bite the yeth hound. The wounds immediately heal.

It soon becomes evident that neither combatant can injure the other. A draw is declared at the end of round 271.

Round 272: A massive, low slung creature with a wedge-shaped head and a body covered in coarse, shaggy fur moves to 55N60E. Its legs are short and thick, and it has claws like pickaxes on its feet.

Next up for NE: a seeker void hound. (Wotc website)

A six-legged canine with a smooth coat of jet black fur and slanted red eyes charges into the arena, barreling across the floor towards the wolverine. A row of bony spikes runs down its back, and it angles these at its foe as it approaches, attempting to rake them across the rodent's flesh.

The canine must not have been running hard enough, because he bounces off Wedgy (rolled 13+2=15 for charge).

Round 273: Wedgy ferociously claws once and bites (worst hitting roll 18; miss 11) for 11+6=17 points of damage. The canine has 8 HP remaining.

Thokdok rears back onto its back pairs of legs and viciously attacks Wedgy with his teeth and foreclaws. As soon as his assault ends, however, Thokdok's particles seem to shift slightly, and he fades from view.

Full attack, then activating total concealment and taking a five-foot-step to 55N50E.

Thokdok's teeth taste flesh, but his claws are still clean (best missing roll 13, hitting roll 19). He bites for 7 points of damage. Wedgy has 38 HP remaining.

Round 274: Wedgy goes berserk, clawing and biting at 55N55E.

Thokdok lashes out at the enormous rodent a second time, then seemingly fades from existence.

Go ahead and time compress. This could take a while...

Thokdok steps forward, hitting with all three attacks because Wedgy did not know where he wasm, for a total of 17 points of damage. Wedgy has 31 HP remaining (he gained some when he went berserk).

Round 275: Wedgy hits only once because he cannot see Thokdok, clawing for 13 points of damage. Thokdok is dying.

Next in round 275 for Neutral Evil is a dracotaur (Monster Manual III).

A large creature with the upper torso of a muscular lizardfolk barrels clomps into the arena. Its lower torso resembles the body of a wingless dragon with large, clawed feet and a spiked tail that whips from side to side as the thing stares menacingly at Wedgy. Sszalor is covered in a coat of thick, forest-green scales that fade into a pale yellow along his belly. A large, pinkish-orange crest sits atop his reptillian head, above angry black eyes and a mouth full of glistening teeth. The dracotaur digs his claws into the dirt floor and tightens his grip on a large spear, holding it towards the angry rodent. He furrows his spined brow and stares the beast in the eyes, daring it to approach.

Moving to 60N10E and setting the spear against a charge.

edit: Just fixing a glaring grammatical error.
