Sszalor unleashes a beastial roar of pain and anger as he flies into a flurry of attacks against Wedgy, striking at the wolverine with every weapon at his disposal.

Round 277: Sszalor is so blind with flurry he does not even make contact with Wedgy (best roll 11).
Wedgy is so blind with fury that he cannot strike true with any of his three attacks (best roll 16).
Time compression flurry/fury?

Realizing that he is probably too injured to take on another opponent, Sszalor takes to the other side of the arena (110N0E), hoping to outrun whatever emerges.

Round 279

A 10 foot by 10 foot square shimmering, agitated cloud quickly flies to 110N0E and Sszalor notices that tiny air elementals are pounding him before he takes 7 points of damage and drops.

Next for NE in round 280: a skeroloth (yugoloth). (FF)

OOC: Congratulations Komodo! You get to play your first yugoloth!

*raves* Oontz, oontz, oontz, oontz. Hurray!

A small insectoid creature skitters into the arena. Its carapace is grayish-red, and looks as though it is coated with a thin layer of slime. Heralded as "Snitzky the Brave," the skeroloth stands up on its rear four legs, making visible a pair of appendages ending in talon-like spines, one of which is accented by a tarnished golden bracelet. It turns its elongated head, ending in a complicated and disgusting array of mouthparts and featuring two oversize, slitted, amber eyes, to stare at the mob of opponents. As it does so, its underside pales noticeably, fading to an almost milky white shade. Snitzky shudders momentarily, then appears to steel itself for battle, staring grimly ahead at the swarm. The daemon drops down onto all of its legs and scuttles fowards, stopping about ten feet from the edge of the swarm. Its mandibles click rapidly several times, and a blast of fire erupts from two brownish antennae.

Burning hands. 1.5x damage, yo!

Round 280: Snitzky moves to 95N5E and fries the swarm. The swarm dodges (rolled 22 Ref save) and takes 6 times 1.5 = 9 points of damage. It has 23 hp left.

The swarm moves to 95N0E. Snitzky claws and hits with his AoO (rolled 16), actually taking out a few tiny elementals. The swarm takes 1 point of damage and has 22 hp left.

The swarm pounds on Snitzky for 6. Snitzky is indeed brave, as he has 16 hp left and is not tripped by the elementals. (Rolled 18 vs. 21) Snitzky is distracted by them, however. (Rolled 9 Fort save) He can only single move on his next turn.
