The crocodile chomps again. The swarm takes 16 and is dispersed!

Next up for NE in round 291: a colchiln. (CC)

Neutral Evil's next combatant resembles a chubby, black lizardfolk. This four-foot tall bipedal creature is bloated and has scaled ebony skin. Its arms end in four-fingered claws, and its lidless white eyes bulge out of its head. A red forked serpent’s tongue hangs out of its toothless maw, occasionally flapping to and fro, like a horse's tail. It hisses in defiance at the larger reptile, then waddles towards it to scratch viciously.

Sorry for taking so long on this one. Power attacking for 4, for this round, at least. We'll see how he does, then decide whether or not to time compress.

The colchiln charges to 60N30E. The croc takes an AoO and bites it. (Rolled 24) The colchiln takes 21-5=16 and is dragged into the crocodile's mouth. (Rolled 29 vs. 24 Grp check)

The colchiln claws viciously (Rolled 28-8) for 12 points of damage. The crocodile has 44 hp left.

Round 292: The crocodile chomps down. (Rolled 30 vs. 8 Grp check) The colchiln takes 27-5=22 and dies.

Next for NE: a gravehound. (Minis Handbook)

No can do. I don't have the Miniatures Handbook. I'll try to pick it up if I see it anywhere, but I have no idea where one buys books in this place. I'll handle the croc again.

Round 292

A canine creature enters, moving with a predatory grace belied by its rotting, fleshy body. Patches of shaggy hair grow over much of its body, between areas where flesh has sloughed off because of rot or from the hapless attempts of prey to beat back the hound's attack.

It moves to 60N30E. The crocodile takes an AoO and misses. (Rolled 13)

This time it is the hound that chomps down! (Rolled 22) The crocodile takes 8 and resists the foulness of the hound's bite. (Rolled 28 Fort save) It has 36 hp left.

Round 293

Chomp! (Rolled 30) 19 points of damage takes the hound down to 7 hp.

The croc holds on to the hound. (Rolled 28 vs. 23 Grp check)

The hound bites its rotting tail. (Rolled natural 1)

Round 294: The croc fails to damage the hound further. (Rolled 22 vs. 25)

The hound misses. (Rolled 14-4)

Round 295: The croc gets a better grip. (Rolled 34 vs. 21) 14 points of damage destroys the hound!

Next for NE in round 295: a flamebrother salamander. (MM)

And another bites the dust...

A small, orange and black creature slithers into the arena and moves to 55N15E. Visible waves of heat emanate from Scorchy's body, the lower half of which is like that of a snake with scales of molten rock. His upper half is humanoid, and he wears a wide grin across a devilish visage. Two rows of spines, each one shaped like a tongue of fire, run down Scorchy's spine and continue down the back of his tail. A small plume of reddish flame flickers from his scalp like hair, and muscular arms hold an elaborately crafted spear of blackened iron, keeping it trained on his large, scaled opponent. Coiling his body up for greater support, the salamander holds his ground, awaiting the crocodile's attack.

Readying an attack.
