Can the void walker put 2 and 2 together to figure out this is another fast-healing hydra? If so, he's going for the draw. If not, he'll put his Dodge on ole Rust Bucket and move to 60n55e and stay "in the void." He'll take an AoO if it presents itself.

A 10 by 10 foot carpet of crawling night-black beetles, each one about one and a half inches long, moves to 55N60E.

Dino canters into the arena at 60n25e. Dino looks like a well-armored man-sized dog with a long, barbed tongue. His hide, if you can call it that, is dark red, almost blood colored, and riddled with pock marks as if he got boiled in acid. He gives off an awful stench, but that might just be the bean burrito he had before entering the arena. He mumbles in draconic, "Oh, man, watch out for those Taco Bell gut bombs." He tries to summon Fifi at 60n45e, Spot at 70n50e, and Rover at 50n50e (in that order). If any appear, they use their tongue attacks.

Fifi shows up, the rest do not. The beetles adeptly dodge Fifi's tongue (rolled 17).

The beetles crawl to 55N45E. Fifi's tongue misses again. (Rolled 19)

The beetles bite Fifi for 10-5=5. Fifi has 45 hp left, but is not distracted. (23 Fort save)

Fifi steps to 65n45e and attacks. Dino steps to 60n25e and launches his tongue at some of the beetles directly ahead.

Both tongues hit (lowest roll 25), but a few crushed beetles are not enough to make a dent in the swarm.

The swarm steps to 60N45E. Fifi misses the AoO, an exercise in futility. (Rolled 18)

Fifi takes 8-5=3 and has 42 hp. Fifi is distracted (rolled 17 Fort) and a large number of beetles take advantage and crawl straight into her mouth!

I was wondering if the beetles would be immune to the paralysis or if it would be ineffectual due to no damage. After a few commands are barked out by Dino, Fifi moves to 45n60e, then 25n80e and then 0n115e while Dino moves to 115n0e this round and waits for a few more rounds to expire and get the draw. Hopefully the beetles are not smart enough to come after Dino. If they do, he will run out of the arena.

Round 577: Fifi moves to 45N60E. The beetles follow, chewing on Fifi from both inside and out. Fifi takes 11-5 and has 36 hp.

Round 578: Still distracted, Fifi moves to 25N80E. The beetles follow and chew for 23-5. Fifi has 18 hp left.

Round 579: Fifi moves away. Draw.

An eight foot tall and wide body with a large mouth on top and three arms, legs, and eyes moves to 55N80E.

First in round 580 for NE: a winter wolf. (MM)

A large white wolf the size of a horse trots into the arena to 55n40e. Lassie readies to breathe some cold when ole Three-Eye comes within 15ft.

Three-Eye charges wildly to 55N50E, getting blasted with cold in the process, but ignoring it completely.
