NE vs. N (FFA): Very Young Tarterian Dragon vs. Adult Ethereal Dragon

I just want to confirm that Fitzpah is high enough level (7th) to affect an outsider with brain lock. If so, a draw is declared in the middle of round 588.

Excellent question. Specifically, the psurlon's psi-like ability states, "3/day - brain lock (all types, DC 15)" so the assumption I'm going on is that he can. His manifester level is 7, however, so even with more power points he can do it (3+4=7, no overchanneling required). Come to think of it, I don't know why they mention "all types" unless it was a matter of convenience. I guess they have to mention it since it's a psi-like ability and not a psionic power.

A man-sized creature on four, clawed legs with tiny wings lopes into the arena to 80n35e. Amber is mostly grayish, with red-orange forelimbs and an elongated, red-orange snout with an array of very sharp teeth. Amber readies to breathe on anything coming within 30ft.

Round 589

A huge reptile with an enormous head and mouth filled with dagger-sized teeth charges into the arena on two powerful legs. Its forelimbs are tiny in comparison, and look useless for anything other than ornamentation.

It charges to 75N40E, ignoring the gas (19 Will save), and bites Amber (rolled 32+2=34) for 23 points of damage, then grabs Amber in its mouth (49 vs. 15 grapple). Amber has 50 HP remaining, and can breathe again in round 593.

Round 590

Amber claws twice, but misses with bite (rolled 14-4=10; worst claw roll 18-4=14) for 9 points of damage. T-Rex has 171 HP remaining, and is located at 75N40E.

T-Rex chews on Amber for 28 points of damage, then swallows her, dealing an additional 19 bludgeoning and 8 acid damage. Amber is defeated, and you were right about the one more round.

First in round 591 for Neutral Evil is bile wrapped in beauty (WoTC Monster Index). She (it?) sounds delightful.

A girl I dated in high school steps into the arena at 80n20e and sprays acid at the t-rex. Veronica's thinking that reflective disguise will have little effect on the t-rex. She might survive the initial attack.
