necrocarnum acolyte feat and its effects.

hey all,

the necrocarnum acolyte feat seems strange to me; basically, it allows a non-good incarnate to shape necrocarnum. naturally, this benefits lawful and chaotic incarnates. however, does this also prevent any associated side-effects us continually using such an evil source of power, such as alignment change?

i realize some people may not play with that, but i'm wondering: does it merely allow non-good incarnates to use a necrocarnum, or does it do this while also preventing alignment shift?

also, while on the topic of incarnum, why do some of the totemist melds have an alignment descriptor if totemists do not use alignment for their powers? completeness and/or spell interaction, i assume?
