D&D General Necromancer in partyy

Spores Druid - Death isn't the end of life, but instead a change of state that sees life shift into a new form.
Since Spores Druids are about decay and rot and fungal infection and disease, you could encourage the Necromancer to lean in to the same ideals rather than "skeleton minions"

With the life cleric they could be a Plague Doctors being sent in to investigate a necrotic curse

Hey

I'm looking for any ideas on what would make a Druid, Cleric, and Necromancer be ok with teaming up? Besides a shared threat. What could each one find in each other?

The Druid is a spores Druid and the cleric is a life cleric. The Druid is true neutral with a lawful leaning and being played that way and the life cleric is very sensitive, caring, peaceful, being played that way. The necromancer is fight fire with fire type of person
I think that there is potentially less conflict with the necromancer being a necromancer, and possibly more with the whole "fight fire with fire" attitude, if it extends to the necromancer using evil methods like torture etc.

It is absolutely possible to play a necromancer in a non-disruptive manner. Whether they are actually doing so, we don't have enough information to judge.

"Waste not want not."

The spore druid should be familiar enough with decomposers to understand making use of corpses out of necessity. Would they rather the necro eat their slain enemies?
I'd think a Spore Druid would be fully on board with eating the dead - thats exactly what decomposers do
