Hey

I'm looking for any ideas on what would make a Druid, Cleric, and Necromancer be ok with teaming up? Besides a shared threat. What could each one find in each other?

The Druid is a spores Druid and the cleric is a life cleric. The Druid is true neutral with a lawful leaning and being played that way and the life cleric is very sensitive, caring, peaceful, being played that way. The necromancer is fight fire with fire type of person

Do any of the characters have a personality trait that might make them unwilling to work together with any of the others? Is the Life Cleric specifically worshipping an undead hating god?

Well, the "caring, sensitive peaceful being" and the "fight fire with fire" may have conflict.

Mind you, the necromancer doesn't have fire. They have death. Fight fire with death.

"Waste not want not."

The spore druid should be familiar enough with decomposers to understand making use of corpses out of necessity. Would they rather the necro eat their slain enemies?

I have that same thing in my group right now. One player is running both the cleric and necromancer though. The necromancer is played from a point of view of studying the body and an interest in how and why things die and live.

This sounds like an actual group of players & PCs. and the necromancer player isn't described as engaging in any social contract violating activities.. As such it seems to be less of a case of Bob needing to justify why his necromancer PC can be part of a party with Alice & Cindy than a case of "Alice & Cindy failed at the most basic requirement of making a PC able to work with others and it is on them to fix that with their own excuse or a new PC lacking that failure" if "necromancer" is the line they are drawing.

Maybe ask the spores druid & the Cleric what needs to change with their PC to accept Bob's otherwise innocent PC.

You can do like I did with my Wizard - When the Cleric complained about me using necromancy in character, I pointed out that Revivify was Necromancy.
