Need Clarification on Forced Movement

I'd say yes. Why can allies pass through each others' squares after all? Because your friend allows you to. So why couldn't you allow an enemy to pass through your square?

Of course, usually that would grant an opportunity attack, but in this case this isn't the case and the enemy does not have a choice in the first place.

Not by the rules, you can't - well, unless the creature is 2 sizes bigger than the ally (well, unless it is much bigger/smaller than the ally, or helpless). PH, p. 286, first bullet of page - you can only force move a model into a space it could enter by walking. Therefore, the rules on p. 283 apply, which state when you can (and cannot) enter an enemy space.

That said, there is some debate on whether one can "choose" to "switch off" being an enemy. My own opinion is that you cannot (barring such situations as actually becoming an enemy to your allies, aka P v P) - the rules really aren't designed for such, and allowing it opens up the game to way too much munchkinism.

By RAW I believe you can't. And that makes sense to me

Your ally might be able to let them pass through the square, but would they risk it? Letting an ally pass is safe, letting an enemy pass means leaving yourself wide open.

I'd probably houserule that yes, you can, if the ally agrees, BUT the ally takes an OA from that enemy (they've made themselves vulnerable to the enemy by letting it get so close) but that'd be circumstance dependent

Will your enemy suddenly make the choice to be a willing recipient to your powers so you can force him to move on the other side of your own allies?!?

This is even a plausible rules question now?

'Excuse me, I know I just attacked you, and we're trying to kill you, but are you okay with me moving you away from me, and over onto the other side of my friends making it more likely for us to kill you?'

Where does this debate even exist?
