Need Help Advancing my Bard

The Complete Warrior class that was mentioned is called Warchanter. Its main requirements are Combat Expertise and Weapon Focus. It stacks for bardic music (and i think it may continue advancing you Inspire Courage). It gives some amazing combat songs and the ability to have two songs up at once. It also gives full bab. The main reason players take this class is a song they get at about 5th level of the PrC. It lets the target of the song take a penalty to their AC and gain a bonus to hit. The penalty cannot exceed their bab(or maybe your bard level i forget). This would let for example you barbarian (normally a AC pointless class) tank their AC, full power attack, and still be hitting just as good as ever.

I've got the Spells: 0: Dancing Lights, Detect Magic, Ghost Sound, Know Direction, Message, Read magic, 1: Alarm, Comprehend Languages, Identify, Sleep, 2: Eagle's Splendor, Enthrall, Hypnotic Pattern, Sonic Weapon.

1. Hypnotic Pattern is just a weak version of Fascinate Bardic Music. Why have it?

Also, the trend has been set that 'magic' is slowly becoming less powerfull. (current effect: -3 Caster Level on all Evocation, Transmutation and Abjuration spells, -1 CL on all other schools).

You may want to take Practiced Spellcaster to offset the caster penalty.

Also the best Prc for you is Complete Arcane's Sublime Chord (a Bard with 9th level spells).

I know, i only realized later on that the resulting effect was fascinate instead of 'stunned' or something else actually useful in combat. I have to replace it at some point with a more useful spell.

also, the group has agreed that the penalties on spellcasting now in effect should be removed, and replaced with roleplay-repercussions on spellcasting.

As to the PrC's:

I am currently trying to choose between Sublime Chord and Lyric Thaumaturge.
Both get access to Sorcerer/Wizard Spells.
Both get an ability that improves caster level.

I can start with LT at lvl 10, and SC at lvl 11

Has anyone done any comparison between the two?
