Need help with Cohort

Ok I just got the leadership feat and need help making my cohort.

She is a Sor 10 lvl and will fill in the fire power for the party.

Party is
11th lvl (Cleric 7, Barbarian 2, Rogue 2)
11th lvl (Rogue 10, Assassin1)
12th lvl (Ranger 5, Wiz 5, Arcane Archer 2)


What known spells would be good for us?

I dont want her to get killed so I was thinking of a Summoner type (Invis and sommon/ attack with non attack spells)

Any help is great.

Well, with summoned monsters I'd go with defensive spells to keep the cohort alive and the summoning spells. Mage Armor, Invisbility, and Spider Climb are very good. Extend spell is nice to keep the summoned monsters around longer.
 

Summoning spells don't work that well for sorcerors, since they really don't scale at all with level, and sorcerors have very few known spells to work with. Might do better buying a wand of Summon Monster instead. For a sterotypical 10th lvl sorceror with a decent balance of offense, defense, and utility spells, here's a selection (only PHB spells):

0th (9) - Take your pick
1st (5) - Magic Missile, True Strike, Expeditious Retreat, Protection From Evil, Shield
2nd (4) - Alter Self, Glitterdust, Blindness, Web
3rd (3) - Haste, Dispel Magic, Fly
4th (2) - Improved Invisibility, Enervation
5th (1) - Teleport
 

I was looking at this list with the ones marked with (*) as being avalible from Shadow Evocation. THen takeing Spell Focus Illiusions to make the DC 21

I may rethink the Summon spells as they dont scale as you said.
But I was thinking that she could summon in some mob and then Poly other it to something tougher. But then I lose the spec powers. Hmmmm

While summoning doesn't scale, it does provde distractions for the enemies. Every little bit helps. And if the enemy can't take it out in a round, then they have to deal with it an an additional summoned thing the next round. They can add up quickly. Also, you can summon things that will help the party. If the party is full of archers, summon creatures that fight hand to hand. Flying creatures are always good. You need something to hel0p flank with the rogue? Summon it. Look into expanding the summoning tables with different templates and creatures of equal CR. The Versatility is endless.
