Need Help With UA

I need some help with things. When you are using both Armor as Damage reduction and Vitality and Wound Points how does this interact with subdual weapons like a sap or an unarmed strike? Monks...okay treat as any lethal weapon like a mace or something....but what about Frank the Fighter punching a NPC commoner and he has no feats such as Improved Unarmed Strike? The NPC has no Vitality Points...just Wound Points. What about later when the fighter is smacked with a sap by a rogue wanting to club him and steal things? Also is it possible for the DR of a given suit of armor or for that matter any type of DR to reduce a hit to 0 damage?

Then weapon groups. Say you have a fighter who chose Heavy Blades, Bows, Spears and Maces. He takes the feat Exotic Weapons so he can wield a bastard sword 1 handed. Does this feat 1.) Give him knowledge in all exotic weapons from Heavy Blades, Bows, Spears and Maces. 2.) Give him knowledge in one particular group he knows...such as just in Heavy Blades and if he wants to know Exotic type maces that costs another feat?

Lastly....test based prerequisites. I love them. I love the ones drawn up in UA so far and I love the prestige bard, ranger and paladin. Has anyone came up with a test for any of those three or for that matter for ANY other prestige class.

The vitality/wound point system doesn't distinguish between lethal and non-lethal damage. So the difference between a monk and a fighter fighting unarmed is that the fighter does 1d3 damage and the monk 1d6 or more (and doesn't provoke AoO's). Damage done to the peasant with no VP goes straight to WP, as with a sword. And yes, if an attack's damage doesn't exceed the target's effective DR, no damage is done. To successfully damage someone in full plate with an unarmed strike, you need to be a monk, have a 14+ Strength, or score a critical hit.

#1. And if you take a new weapon group after you took exotic weapons, you get proficiency with all weapons from the new group as well.
