Need rogue help

OK, at this point I HAVE to know the wording of the original wish.

You would have been better off with a reincarnation.

You can't even fire a ranged weapon at a bad guy in melee with the party?

LOL, if I am you I am showing up with a PSP and an iPod, and just sitting in the back collecting XP. If the other players get pissed, just whip out your "HE DID IT!! ==>" sign pointing at the DM.

Next character you roll up --> anthropomorphic bat druid going to Planar Shepherd PrC. Get unlimited wishes from Efreets, make a few "mistakes" on your wishes...

In regard to the wording of the wish I fear that the copy has since been thrown away. However I believe that the 4 biggest problems with the wording are as follows:
1st They said " we fear he will no longer trust us. "
2nd "let's us forget this horrible event"
3rd " let him return with nothing more to gain" - I forgot to merkin in my original post that because of this line I have to donate 100xlevel gp when I lv up
4th they didn't use my name in the wish so he almost didn't bring me back

Regarding the bow, no I can't use it. His ruling was that I can't do anything that would harm or hinder an
enemy they r base to base with. this also includes that I have to disengage from any enemy I'm fighting if they come to close to the action.

And I like the idea of the sign, I will deffinently make one up because I'm inturpting his ruling that I won't let them stand behind be to mean that I won't search for or disarm traps and I won't open locks because I have to turn my back to them for a few minutes. So the party will hopeful start forcefully persuading him.

There is no aggression like passive aggression.

That is view as well. Although we are currently in the room with a big boss (undead so I can't crit him anyway) and I have a ring of messaging and have contiplated using it to try and get the bad guy to let me work for him (I'm chaotic neutral after all) but then I'm like well it isn't the parties fault so I don't want to hurt them.

Sit this one out. They're going to be fighting the boss, so the only thing you can do is avoid the action and maybe steal a few valuables.

Actually, since your rogue can't trust the party, you should have him undergo a paranoid episode in which he volunteers to stand guard, steals the pants off of everyone, and then leaves the party.

This will allow you to retire your character in an amusing and believable manner (hopefully your party members will see it this way as well) while setting the stage for your next PC.

Hmm, for keeping your SA available, there is a Skill Trick that lets you treat an opponent as flat footed if you can tumble through their space to get behind them. Also the Penetrating Strike alternate class feature (replaces Trap Sense) will let you SA anything - though at half SA dice if not usually able to attack it.

Sounds like you got hosed on the way the DM limited you...

I was not aware that more than one person could effectively be the caster of the wish spell. Are you sure that only one PC said all those things?

As for the 3rd point:  what a kind hearted DM, since NEVER getting any XP, or items (or weight?) for that matter, is certainly possible with this phrase.

But other than to feel sorry for you about the situation I don't have anything positive to add.

They didn't all say it, only the wizard did but they worked on it together.

And I agree with the DM being kind on #3 he even told the party that he was tempted to not let my ROGUE loot anymore bit figured that would be to difficult for a rogue
