Need rogue help

I know I'm late to the discussion, but if your PC doesn't trust anyone in the party, why doesn't he just set off on his own? Force the DM to run a separate adventure for your PC, and he should come around to the idea that he screwed up pretty quickly.

And for the record, I think your DM stinks. He surely doesn't know what he is doing, and if he is trying to live up to some great legacy, he is failing miserably.

Play it off like, "Hey guys my Rogue died. Here is my new Heal Bot." Throw around a few heals and buffs. Wait til the heat from the DM is off your back. Then, when the opportunity arises, unleash the wrath of Moradin and the fury of Clangeddin Silverbeard!! Buff up and wreck house!!

Some nice persisted Righteous Might + Divine Might will teach your DM a lesson!

Well I think I will tough it out for one week. Hopefully showing him how useless I am now and making him reconsider. Then if that doesn't work my goal will be to show him just how wrong he was. I will just need a powerful build that is PH related, because all others have to be aproved by him and they would probly be considered too powerful.

I'm currently a 5th lv rogue.

My character won't let anyone stand less then 40ft behind him.
Won't sleep near the party.
And the worst part is that I can't attack any enemy that is in base to base with a fellow party member is in base to base with.
Also the poor phrasing resulted in no one remembering anything ever happened so knowbody knows that I have been cursed not even me.

This now makes it a pain to sneak attack because my DM has outlawed bluffing in combat.

I currently have 2 wep fighting and wep finess as my feats.

Looks like your DM hates you.

What you mean ''base to base''? I just cant translate it :erm:

You know what? You are a paranoid rogue. Act like it.
You don't trust your party members.
What would a crazy rogue do in this case? He would change his party.
And teach your DM a lesson doing it, by sneak attacking them in their sleep and stealing all their items. Plan it well. Ask the DM to help you with it, passing him secret notes, and explaining to him why you want to do it, but don't tell him exactly how.

This way either he will understand that he should back off the curse somehow, or if he lets you kill everyone, everyone will be unhappy with him, or if ''something happens'' and they get saved, you can throw your PH in his face screaming ''UNFAIR!!1!''.

But since you look like a patience monster, ask your other party members to use reach weapons.

For sleeping...how much a magic item with rope trick 1/day would cost? There is also the Ring of sustenance, but it costs 2500, and since your DM wants to kill you everything that can happen in a night will happen within the 2 hours you have to sleep alone.

The 40ft behind you is kinda cool....no more hitting random traps :P
Also there were some thieves tools with 10 ft range or something like that, but I can't remember where.
Ask all your party to get between you and the trap, and then try to disarm it.

If everything else fails, just roll something even stronger.

Well my DM has put sneak attack on The forbidin list and I'm not getting it back. He said if I work out a way to get an animal flaking buddy that it will be his number 1 target. He said that I can change classes which I will be making a summoner Druid. He did atleast say that a party without a rogue is a party that will see no traps, so that won't be a problem for use.

@Visigani - To give xp, look to the left of the post you want to comment. Beneath the name , avatar, etc, at the bottom is a green "thumbs up" icon, looks like this:

That's the XP button!

Is that exactly what he said?? Because to me "a party without a rogue is a party that will see no traps" is almost a warning. See no traps doesn't mean they are not there just that you don't see them before everything blows up in your face. Given your DM's history of being a dick when it comes to specific wording this sends up major red flags.
