Need some pirate minis cheap

Great suggestions, thanks. SavageRobby, some of those minis should work out very well. This is a pseudo-historical/Pirates of the Caribbean thing, so no mind flayers (though my zombie minis will get a workout). :)

@Orgrork: The web site says "no international orders". He doesn't say explicitly whether that includes Canada, but since he doesn't list separate shipping costs to Canada, I assume it does. Bummer.

On the less elegant side, a Target department store near where I live had a $1 bag of little plastic pirates. I snatched one up because you never know when they might come in handy ;)

My wife works our local Target... They not only have Pirates, but also Ninjas, Cowboys, Indians and Knights (with horses). She picked up two or three packs of each, just to fill out our army of generic mooks.

They're slightly larger than typical D&D minis, but not excessively so, and typically come in three colors in a pack (the ninjas are black, white and grey, for example).

Sounds good. I'm off to Target some time this week.

Grrr... Camera's broken. I'll see what I can do.

EDIT:

Look here. The ninjas pictured at the top are EXACTLY the ones sold at target. The pirates with the ship and chest are very similar to the ones sold at Target. At Target, however, they only cost a dollar a pack, if I remember right.

EDIT, EDIT:

Also, do a webs search for "toy soldiers"... You'll find sites like this: http://www.angelfire.com/pe/ATSTOYSOLDIERS/ORION.html

They have packs for about $10.50 each... Each pack typically comes with beteen two to four dozen figures. Pirates, vikings, gladiators, etc... "1/72" scale (also known as HO scale) is 1" ~ 6'.

Thank you!

The Ninjas I got plenty of about 2 years back, along with the knights. Dollar tree had them. the Knights are kinda small, but are soft enough to make cool casualty markers.
