Gurter responds to Hawk "Well met good Sir, Gurter is the name, singing is the game... sort of speak." while he makes a quick bow out of courtesy. That said and done he quickly focuses his attention to the two ladies present. "A prince I am not, nor am I related. A silver key was given to me by my mentor which led me to this rather old house." He turns towards Anna and continues "But I'm being rather rude. I haven't introduced myself properly towards this lady." He makes a deep bow while he tries to kiss Anna's hand and says while smiling "Gurter is the name. What brings you to this dusty house?"

Anna grins at Gurter as the bard kisses her hand. "You've got better manners than the lads in my village, that's for sure. My name is Anna. A message of inheritance brings me to this house, although it all seems a little odd to me. Handing out keys is a strange way of managing one's estate."

She looks over to the corner of the room as Eseteru speaks up. "My living is following the path Ehlonna reveals to me. I'm a paladin in her service. And yourself? What is your calling?"

Eseteru is silent for a moment, seeming lost in thought.

"I was a soldier once. It didn't suit me. I was a son and a brother once. That didn't suit me either. Now I'm in business for myself, as it were. A dying friend gave me the key as his last act.

"This whole inheritance thing sounds a bit fishy to me, personally. dammed odd way of handing out free money. I'm just waiting to see what the catch is.

"Paladin, eh? Sounds dreadful, though I suppose if you didn't like it, you wouldn't be doing it. How'd you become a paladin? I mean, you can't just walk into your local Paladins' Guild and sign up, can you?"

The sound of knocking at the door interupts the groups conversation and Tywin excuses himself, "Gentlemen, Ladies, help youself to some warmed spice wine, The stew will be ready shortly. I will be back in a moment." Tywin turns a walks toward the front door.

Opening the front door, Tywin smiles looks up at the tall man. "You young sir must be master Enoch. Welcome, let me show you your room, do you need help carrying anything?"

Tywin helps Enoch in any way he can and brings Enoch to a bedroom sweet of three rooms, all of the fabric furniture is slightly moldy and everything is covered in months of dust and cobwebs.

"Mr. Enouch, if you would like me to dry your cloths, leave them outside your door. There are others in the kitchen downstairs where you will find warm spiced wine to and a fire to fight the dampness."

"Well ladies, could I help you to some wine. Speaking of which..." Gurter starts to tell a humerous story about wine, (if he doesn't know one, he will make one up), to break the ice, while he starts to fill the glasses.

Enoch removes his wet cloak, backpack, chain shirt and buckler, drops his quarterstaff, and places his cloak outside the room as instructed. He heads downstairs quickly afterwards as being offered hot stew reminded him he hadn't yet breakfasted.

As Enoch arrives in the kitchen on the periphery of the group, he stands transfixed, slackjawed, and staring at Persephone and Anna.

"Uh..."

Grinning, Eseteru sidles up to Enoch and whispers, "They're called women. In general they are feisty beings, but they have their moments. Beware. They can sense fear."

Chuckling, he wanders back to his corner and sits down, feet up. Somewhere along the way he aquired a glass of spiced wine.

"I guess it's not the life for everyone." Anna answers Eseteru. "It's a little more complicated than just walking into a guildhall. My mother married a priest, and he thought I was suited for the clergy. Turns out he was right, but I'm my talents made me more suitable as a paladin than a priest."

As Enoch arrive, Anna turns to see the newcomer. "I think you've made quite a first impression." She says to Persephone, smiling at Enoch obvious shyness. "Don't worry, we won't bite. Well, not unless you try to escape." She winks at Eseteru as she takes a goblet of the spiced wine from Gurter.
