Nentir Vale/World of Nerath Information/Links?

The greater world got 8 expansions called Nerathi Legends in Dragon Magazine nos;

#398 (Sarthel, City of Silver)
#399 (The Seven Kings of Karkoth)
#400 (The Iron Wolf Barbarians)
#401 (Merindaelion, Barony of the Emerald Blade)
#402 (Adretia, the Citadel of Iron’s Grasp)
#403 (Realm of the Gorgon King)
#405 (The Knights of Rethmil)
#406 (Rangers of Cernall)

...and lord knows I wish they had done more!

I am slowly falling in love with many aspects of this setting, but do find the omnipresence of the more "D&D" races (Dragonborn and Tieflings) harder and harder to swollow. So for "my Nerath" I might dial those down to "legends" of the past that may or may not show up. Especially for the Warforged.

what's the issue with the races, if you don't mind the question?

EDIT: I only ask because for me, that sounds like reducing the place of Draconians in Dragonlance, or Hobbits in Middle Earth. For me, i'd rather they have focused less on human nations, and given us some states controlled by and mostly populated by other races. But, then, I'm pretty bored with human-centric worlds at this point.

Oh nothing at all other than I just am not a fan of either of those races, really that's about it. Dragonborn and Tieflings were one step too far for my tastes, nothing more than that really.

You could very easily have them be lost races that destroyed each other completely in the past - that way you can use all the Arkosian ruins and Bael Turath ruins w/o all the annoying (to you) dragonborn or teiflings running around.

You can largely get rid of Tieflings just by saying human/Tiefling cross = human. Or at least looks human...
And Dragonborn may be (almost?) extinct since the Rain of Colorless Fire destroyed the Arkhosian Empire.

Yes, as was the Invoked Devastation. I believe they added both to the 4e World though, along with many other bits of Greyhawk lore.
