agree, can't stand that idea from day 1.On the one hand, Vancian Casting is a plague upon gaming.
maybe, or maybe spells should be rebalanced more, especially hard CC spells. On the other, maybe Wizards deserve that plague.
Ok.agree, can't stand that idea from day 1.
in 3.5e I played psionics when ever I would play a "caster".
Yes. Saving throw at the end of creature's turns.maybe, or maybe spells should be rebalanced more, especially hard CC spells.
3.5 had all summoning spells work that way. I think this would be a good start.maybe some spells need one-round casting time, You start casting as an Action but the spell is finished at the start of your next turn, that would give lot's of opportunity to interrupt the spell.
I am not so sure about that. Along the lines of ranged attack, probably it would be better to give advantage on the saving throw. Also, every spell that is not cone or melee touch should provoke AoO by default and not be gated behind a feat.
My eldest actually leads with that.I just can't take these shocked YouTube faces any longer. It has almost become a meme at this point.
I didn't see that. I watch YouTube on my TV so I never see comments. Thanks for the clarification. It definitely felt off.Guys, the video was blatant satire. He’s quoting AD&D and calling it “leaked from the next Unearthed Arcana.” Also the pinned comment is him saying “I’m flattered anyone actually believed I was connected enough to have access to internal WotC emails and leaked playtest documents.”
YouTube creators often seem to think everyone is watching on desktop, when a lot of the ancillary stuff they might include is difficult or impossible to access on TV or even mobile (where probably the majority of views are happening now).I didn't see that. I watch YouTube on my TV so I never see comments. Thanks for the clarification. It definitely felt off.
Absolutely no one watched because Youtubers Bad.Guys, the video was blatant satire.
