More profiles, a couple of classes (Arcane Archer and blackguard), also tiles and such.

The total lack of prestige classes is one of the reasons I passed up NWN. If they keep adding to it like this, I'll definitely snatch it up, though.

I think you will all be pleasantly surprised then that Bioware has opened up the databases enough that custom built prestige classes can be programmed into the game!

SoU already comes with five prestige classes but knowing how dedicated the NWN moding community is, we will see a lot of our favorites from the splat books make their way into the game. I am hoping someone does Mage of the Arcane Order so I can truly bring in my character from Wizardru's Story Hour.

Yeah, I just read that as well. I am sure someone will find a hack to do it somehow. Either that or we will get that with Hordes of the Underdark.

Personally I am looking forward to the City of Doors Initiative moving forward as well as Dueeliz's core campaign module conversions since both said they were just waiting for SoU to come out.

I know it will include some new spells, skills, and feats as well. I guess I want to know will campaigns have to be expressly built for the expansion for those feats etc to work?

Will those feats, skills etc work in the adventure that came with the disks of the orignal neverwinter game?

In answer to your question: I would say a tentative yes. I started the regular NWN campaign (not the expansion pack one) and had access to all the extra feats and skills. The prestige classes were also present but greyed out since I was starting a first level character.

Dueeliz's Speaker In Dreams

Heya:

I'm also completely looking forward to this. I read on his website that he was invited up to Bioware to interview but that things didn't work out and that let the sails out of his enthusiasm. I'm hoping SoU will reinvigorate him and we'll eventually see Speaker In Dreams, Heart of Nightfang Spire, etc.

His faithfulness to the modules is great, plus I love having multiple henchman. ;)

[Edit: A link http://4.35.147.177:8080/nwn/ to his site. I hope.]

Take care,
Dreeble
