EDIT: I don't even care that the warrior isn't wearing full armor. He has a "give em hell" look, a big sword, and a HORNED HELMET! He defeated the trolls with his awesome style way before he sliced their heads off. If looks could kill, he's grinding his arse off.

Horned helmet are not that great, IMHO... I don't want my fighter to disguise himself as a cow. :p

The trolls are absolutely great, and the beholder looks cool. I'm less enthusiastic about the adventurers, however; they're a bit bland-looking. And for some reason, the horned helmet bothers me a lot.

I'm not bothered by the horned helm, but I'd prefer if the Fighter's legs were covered.

Someone give him some pants! :)

Trolls (in the weird dimension that is my mind) have a habit of constantly chewing on folds of their own skin, much like a human bites her fingernails. And it keeps growing back, and faster.

Consider this idea stolen!

I never really noticed Raven Mimura before now, but I love these pieces.

The elf in particular looks very "right".
Strangely, I also find myself liking the updated "horned helmet" look even though I always found it quite silly before. The only thing I dislike is the clunky "warhammer miniatures" axe of the dwarf, a style I also see in the b&w image of weapons that has been shown.

Oh, and yay for pantsless warriors. I hope we eventually see som Frazetta'ish barbarian warriors agains these wonderfully dramatic rust-coloured skylines too. :D

Only if they have kilts and bagpipes.

I think a loincloth will do in a pinch.

And count me as another fan of the new trolls. If I could define the new look, it would be as "iconic". They look more like classical fantasy trolls, and less like just something found in the Monster Manual's pictures.

I dunno how else to describe it, other then "Yes, that's what Trolls look like".

I hope all 4E elves are beautiful as this one.
She is so mysterious and powerful. She emanates attraction and awe!

Most 3E elves looked like ugly aliens.
