PS is about Factions, cant and politics, not geography. No one walked anywhere anyway - you used portals or Teleport.
Yeah, I don't see PS having much of a problem moving over to the 4e cosmology so long as they keep the principle themes of Sigil intact.

It looks like there's only going to be 3 book sper campaign setting:

Setting book, DM/Player book, Adventure.

That's not what I call "love".

There will undoubtedly be more stuff for the settings released via the DDI, though.

It's a "James Bond" kind of love, not the "devoted husband" kind of love. :D

IMO Sigil/Planescape is the ultimate expression of the symmetry approach. Remove that symmetry, and you remove a core principle for why the setting exists.

Not necessarily. Although I don't like the Great Wheel myself, nor the Planescape Campaign Setting, I could see other reasons why the Planescape setting could thrive on, even with the new proposed cosmology.
But honestly, I won't try to find a reason, as I'm not payed to conceptualize Planescape, nor am I that motivated enough...

No, I don't. "Sweet as" is Kiwi slang. In fact, you could even say it's "Kiwi as". Just ask Mr Pants. He's the real Kiwi among us. I'm just an imposter. ;)

I can remember back when "choice!" was the Kiwi slang du jour. But then, I'm not only old, I've been a resident alien in the USA for 12 years. Who knows what the cool kids in Godzone are saying these days.

Cheers,
Cam

You know, while that's certainly possible, I'm not sure I'd bet on it. With FR and Eberron being the first two, I'd imagine that WotC would want the next one to be a little more "out there." FR and Greyhawk are, along with Mystara, the "generic" fantasy settings (I don't mean that in a bad way), and even Eberron isn't nearly as left field as the others. I think it's possible that WotC's going to want more than one year, and one campaign setting, between FR and GH.
More than that, I don't know that GH (or Mystara) are sufficiently different enough from FR to warrant a published setting at all, especially if that involves three hardcovers. FR is the clear winner in terms of popularity & sales, and the space between the two is rather slim. It would be nice to see, though.

Oh, people still say "choice" now and again, but adding "as" to things is definitely where it's at these days ("sweet as", "Kiwi as", "naff as", etc), or at least as far as I can tell. I'm neither cool nor a kid anymore. It's just what I hear on the street and on TV and such. I have to admit, though, that the very first time I heard someone say "sweet as", I made the same mistake The Jester made and thought it was "sweet ass!" ;)
