So, Two backgrounds (Giant Foundling, Rune Carver).
each of them gives a feat (and so looking forward to 2024): foundling gives you a "Strike of the Giants"; rune carver gives spells.

Also implied is a feat-chain: the additional feats offer giant-type-specific abilities, keying off of Strike of the Giants (which, if true, would limit their avbailability rather than open things up).

If the Giant Options UA from a while back was anything to go by, Strike of the Giants was a lvl 1, no prereqs. feat, and each of the "X of the Y Giant" feats were lvl 4+ with SotG as their sole prereq.

So unless you want to grab multiple of them, it's at most a two-feat tree.

Yeah, 1st Level Feats with 4th Level optional follow-ups look to be an established part of the rules now.
