Which is why I never let the toddler moms in my game use bastard swords.

I personally think toddlers are too young to be moms. What has society come too?

Look for guys who are married or in long term relationships. We've usually been house trained by then.

I like Shelly and her articles, one of the few things I read on the web that makes me chuckle. She's cute without being dizzty.. :D

I know at least one person (a friend´s wife) who became more amenable to playing D&D after reading Shelly´s book...

Really, if/when Hasbro starts making commercials/product placement/other-marketing for D&D, writing like hers would do wonders.

I can pretty much imagine an episode of The Big Bang Theory* where the nerd guys invite the hot girl next door to play D&D... and a few hours later she robs them of their magic items and leaves them trapped with the monster

(* I know, not the best TV currently out there... but a good show for product placement)

I'm not sure which is more entertaining: reading the article or reading the responses to it.
I'm starting to come around to these articles... Not especially due to any content in them. Just because I like watching the gamer community go into fits and hiccups trying to say that she's a girl and that's okay with them.

I mean that's kind of the point of the articles. "I'm a gamer girl!" At some point, that shtick needs to get old... And it's just clearly not yet.

Fie! That show is hilarious. It would be infiinitely more quality if they lost the laugh track, though. Your audience are already geeks, guys, they know when to laugh and it feels vaguely condescending to have the laugh track going "that was a joke, did you get it? Huh? Laugh, now!..." Not to mention, it just feels downright dated these days.

As for Confessions, I've thoroughly enjoyed them.

That was the only weakness of Coupling - the laugh track. I wonder if the DVDs allow me to turn it off?
