New EN World Mobile Site

If you're like me, and like to have a little collection of news icons on your mobile phone to quickly catch up on news sites which interest you, you might be pleased to know that EN World has joined that club! When viewing the news page on a mobile phone, you'll notice that it has a whole new mobile appearance designed for quick and easy news consumption. Of course, if you preferred the old way, just hit the "Desktop Version" button at the bottom - it will remember your choice on future visits.
If you have a folder of news apps and the like on your phone like I do, you can add EN World's mobile site to your phone homepage. In iOS it's one of the options when you touch that square at the bottom of the screen with the upward arrow coming out of it; I assume there's a similar option in Android.

Of course, if you're viewing this for a desktop, you won't have any idea what I'm talking about. Feel free to ignore this article!

For viewing the forum, of course, Tapatalk is an excellent option. It makes reading and posting on forums easy and quick.

Any chance of a legacy skin for it?

It did not seem to recall my choice from yesterday. Same device (galaxy s6) have not changed/deleted any cookies/history. But on my Kindle hdx it worked fine.

But

after 2 minutes of struggling I couldn't get into the dang forums.
I ended up having to go into my browser history and entering through the Warlord subforum
(the warlord strikes again, ha )

I love this site. But I think new mobile members may not find the forums and then give up.
Is there some way we can get a big FORUMS button on the landing page? At the top ?

I'll see if anything can be done. In the meantime, the What's New? button takes you straight to the forum activity feed.

Great news about the article page. A few more conversions (article page, forums, etc.) and it will look fantastic.

Not a fan of Tapatalk since it doesn't render the forum very well (bullet points, number lists, etc.) -- vBulletin's mobile version renders much better. Looking forward to the new and improved EN World!

It's just a couple of pages for easy news reading on a phone. It's not a rewrite of the whole site.

It wont let me go to desktop no matter how many times I click.

I had to go to whats new, then click forum to get here.
