Why? Season six was far and away better than the previous two, IMO. If anyone needs some preemptive thwacking, I'd say it would be the people responsible for the Dawn/Glory storyline.

The show overall has gone downhill since Dawn's appearance. Yes, it still has moments. However, it is nothing close to what it once was Pre-Dawn.

I thought season 6 was pretty good and I like Dawn very much.

I'm looking forward to Eliza's new show. I have liked the movies she was in and I loved her as Faith. Hopefully the writing will be solid and the creators give her a good supporting cast.

I have no real hopes for this show. I don't have any expectations
at all really. Good or bad. I'll look for people's reactions on the
boards as usual, since I won't be seeing it for a while anyway.

The only two shows in recent memory I had any hopes for were
ENT and Firefly (bless it's soul).

Well, first off, it's a FOX TV series, so that's Strike One.

The premise sounds ... unappealing, at least to me. Probably because I've already been spoiled by a long-ago UPN TV series, 7 Days. Foul Ball, Strike Two.

Not to steal from Alias, but personally I would like to see a different spy series, call it "xXx: La Femme Nikita Style."

Hey, I'm still waiting for FOX to renew John Doe. But after having seen Dark Angel and Firefly cancelled, I can't help but see that the Eliza Dushku series got a steep hill to climb.

Forgive me for being cautiously optimistic.

That's a damned fine show. I was glad to see them expand on the "Digger" character. I'm not sure that Friday is the best place for that show but I hope they renew it also.
