To be honest, I'm not that fussed on whatever they hell ends up on the cover of the PHB, I just hope the content is as awesome as I am hoping for.

…And hope is the best of things.

I did this awhile ago. Personally, I think its better than either of the covers they've done so far. Kudos to them for listening and re-commissioning the art though. At least they are willing to listen to their audience and make changes.

That mock up is gorgeous. I'm really digging the new trade dress for the Complete Book of Denizens. I just plugged you on my journal, too.

but I've always been peeved by his one forward facing foot, his one oversized forearm in front of the body...

He can't do faces, and he makes feet look deformed no matter what. His illustrations for the "Warrior Monks" book for Osprey publishing don't even make the people look human, for example.

...and it's moved away from mine, with these unattractive, stocky figures (every human male appears to be on steroids in 4E, no matter their profession).

OK everyone. Repeat after me: Anything Reynolds can do is still a million times better than Rob Liefield.
