This month's Unearthed Arcana has, among other things, a new Ranger subclass. I'm not looking at this subclass as a whole right now (aside from pointing out that "underdark scout" seems as good as "hunter's prey"), but I wanted to look at some of what it has to say about the others.
First, this new ranger subclass has "domain" spells. Many of us have been saying that these should go out to all of the rangers, like the paladins, so there's extra weight behind that thought now.
Second, "stalker's flurry" is the exact ability I was looking to add to the list of options for the hunter's "multiattack" level 11 ability.
Now, I personally wish Wizards would just errata the PHB's weak abilities, but I understand why they want to just make new stuff.
