Core Rulebook
By Compose Dream
ISSUE #0 is the start to all the Simple Superheroes "Issues" you and your friends will tell. It gives you all the tools you need to build unique characters, interesting stories, and compelling Universes. It contains all the guidance you need to run entertaining, intriguing and immersive game sessions.

Simple Superheroes Design Philosophy
A supers RPG should enable a vast array of character powers and tropes. Moreover it must be robust enough to handle a huge diversity of powes and actions. To allow the greatest amount of creativity and fun, a simple central framework has been created around which the players and Game Masters create their own suite of powers and talents. This system relies heavily on what all RPGs should, trust between GM and players.
· Any Power you can Imagine, defined as you imagine.
· Simple Guidelines that Unleash your Creativity.
· Limitations to keep your Characters interesting.

With Quadropolis: Public Services, an expansion for the Quadropolis base game, players can add new public service buildings to their cities. Whatever you choose, competition will be fierce, and being able to build the right public service at the right time will not be made easy by the other players.
Each round, a selection of public service tiles are revealed and placed face up next to the board. Players will then be able to build these in their city, with each of these new buildings offering in-game bonuses and scoring options to newly challenge you as Mayor of a modern city.

Power Up (Second Edition)
King of Tokyo Expansion
By Iello
With King of Tokyo: Power Up! – an expansion for the King of Tokyo base game – Included is the new monster Pandakai, a giant panda bear. After choosing a monster, each player takes the eight Evolution cards associated with that monster, shuffles those cards, and creates a personal deck. At the end of a player's turn, if she has three hearts, she draws one Evolution card and adds it to her hand; this is possible even in Tokyo (when hearts are normally useless) and even if the hearts are used for some other action, such as healing.
A player can reveal and play an Evolution card at any time. Some Evolutions are temporary, allowing a one-time bonus, while others are Permanent, such as Gigazaur's "Tail Sweep", which allows him to change one die to a 1 or 2 each turn. Each Evolution card also identifies whether a monster is a Mutant, Invader or Robot, and while not relevant for Power Up!, this species identification could come into play in future expansions.
The rules for King of Tokyo: Power Up! contain a few variants: Players start with a random Evolution in play, or draw two cards and choose the one they want, or draft a set of Evolutions prior to the start of play. However you play, the goal of the game remains the same: Score 20 points or be the last monster standing amid the rubble of what was once Tokyo.

Championship Formula Racing
1-12 players, ages 13+, 45+ minutes
By UltraPro
In 1971, John Reilly and Tom Divoll designed a racing game that relied purely on skill. Published by 3M, it was called Speed Circuit.
Championship Formula Racing is a redesign and reimagining of that game. While skill remains paramount in car design (where players build a car's attributes for the race--start speed, acceleration, deceleration, top speed, and tires) and in running the race, the game has changed to include rules for:
- new tracks (to allow a dozen cars to race competitively)
- drone cars to fill out a race field (up to 12 cars in a field now) which will race competitively
- historical racers
- rules for differing types of tires and pitting
- eliminate the need for a speed log, using a more modern system of record-keeping in its place

Ninja Taisen
2 players, ages 8+, 20+ minutes
By Iello
Ninja Taisen is a two-player, dice-driven open information abstract game with a random set-up. Both players have identical sets of ten fighters, with three fighters in each of three colours with values 1–3 along with a tri-coloured boss valued at 4; these fighters are placed in small stacks of varying size onto a line that's eleven steps long. On a player's turn, he rolls the three coloured dice and can make up to three moves accordingly, with the blue die moving a blue fighter, etc. Moving a fighter that has other fighters on top of him moves these other fighters as well.
If, as a result of movement, his fighter (or stack of fighters) encounters an enemy, a fight between the two top cards in each stack occurs, the result of which is decided primarily by the colour (via a rock-paper-scissors mechanism) and secondarily by the number (highest wins). If the boss wins a fight, its power is reduced by the enemy's power for the remainder of the current fight; if two fighters draw, they both retreat one step toward their own village, possibly precipitating other fights on the same turn. The fight continues until either pile is depleted.
The first player to either defeat all of the opposing fighters or reach the end of the line (and clear out the opponent's fighters in his village) wins.

Shahrazad
1-2 players, ages 8+, 10+ minutes
By Osprey Publishing
Shahrazad is a game for one player playing solitaire or for two players playing co-operatively.
In the game, the player starts with one hand card, then draws a second. From these two, they play a card to the tableau. Cards are played touching, in columns left or right but shifted halfway up or down. In the one payer game, a column is restricted to 4 cards, in the two player, the limit is 3 cards. Alternately, you may exchange a played card with a hand card. But next turn, after drawing, you must play down two cards so your hand is back down to one before drawing.
Once all the cards are played, cards are turned face-down if any card on its right is of a lower number. Then the player tries to find paths in the tableau from the far left to the far right side. Think of this as telling the story. Any cards that are not part of a valid path are also turned down.
Now you score for colour groups, and deduct points for face-down cards and gaps in the tableau. After keeping a column, shuffle the deck over and play a second round to get your final score and the King's opinion!
For two players, it's the same with both players working a hand of two each. You cannot consult about which card to play, but after choosing, you may confer about placing. The final score this time reflects a test of your friendship.

In ILIOS: Battle for Troy, 2 to 4 players take turns deploying warrior tiles with white rays representing spears and swords and their directions of attack. When a player raids a warrior tile, they place a disk of their color to occupy it. Warrior tiles are occupied by different players throughout the game until a tile is completely surrounded. It is then removed from the board, and added to the plunder of the player occupying it. Multiple tiles may be surrounded on one play, and surrounded tiles may be occupied by other players. This means your opponents can plunder on your turn!

Oktoberfest
3-5 players, ages 14+, 90+ minutes
By Rio Grande Games
Welcome, brewmasters, to the world renowned Bavarian festival known as Oktoberfest! The 1810 wedding celebration of Crown Prince Ludwig I and Princess Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen swiftly became an annual tradition known as Oktoberfest. Each year the scope of the festival expanded, and by the late 1800s sponsored beer halls and competing breweries were in full operation.
Oktoberfest is a card-driven game loosely based on the folk festival which began as a public celebration of a royal wedding. Based during the festival in the late 1800s, players vie for control of each of six types of beer, even though many of those beer styles are barely available in Bavaria and completely unrelated to Oktoberfest. As patrons arrive at the festival, players bid to decide where they go and how much they drink. By placing cards in the various tents, players can purchase barrels of beer based on the type and number of patrons on the card. The player who gets rid of the most barrels of each gains points for that type of beer at the end of the game.
The problem? The game ends before all twelve tents can be completed, and only closed tents count for points. Whichever beer type is the last in the tent before it closes claims all points for that tent, and the players with the most barrels of each type acquire points.
But watch out for the evacuation card that comes out randomly and wipes out entire tents. Collect the right types of barrels, close tents with the corresponding beer cards on top, and victory could be yours!

Cartography 2nd Edition
2-4 players, ages 10+, 20+ minutes
By Playford Games
EXPAND BUILD DEFEND
You have unearthed the pieces of an ancient Chinese map. As you piece the map together you are drawn into the turbulent times of the Han dynasty in a land of mystical kingdoms. Take the role of the legendary warlords, found in Luo Guanzhong’s epic tale, “Romance of the Three Kingdoms.” Capture lands and build castles to extend and defend your kingdom.
Cartography is a land claiming game with a twist, players become mapmakers in a game that takes creativity and foresight to claim land on a map that changes with each turn. Cartography builds on the ancient territory claiming game "Go" by adding a map-making mechanism. The map is made up of triangular tiles, with rivers that divide the map, allowing lands to be defended or captured. Players create and claim land, then capture opponents, in an effort to control the map.
The map changes as you play so you must keep your wits about you.
Players start by selecting tiles to create land and extend the map. Castles are then placed on the land you claim or capture, and whoever has most castles – those they place on the land and those they capture – wins. Because the landscape changes on every turn, you must be vigilant as a stronghold can quickly turn into a weakness, and as you try to surround other players’ castles, they might also be surrounding you! In planning your strategy on where to build your castles, you must carefully choose between expanding and consolidating, and between attacking and defending.
Strategy is key and chance doesn't determine the winner. The 2nd Edition features an alternative play option with an element of luck through random draw of three land tiles kept hidden in your hand.

Taking the facial features of a man he had saved in his tenth form as a reminder that the Doctor saves people, the Twelfth Doctor has struggled to come to terms with his inner demons since regeneration. Outwardly brusque, the Twelfth Doctor is rarely seen without Clara Oswald at his side, keeping him in check. The pair are sometimes aided by the Paternoster gang comprising of Madame Vastra, Jenny Flint and Strax. The Twelfth Doctor has faced perennial foes such as Daleks and Cybermen while overcoming other, newer adversaries – armed with little more than his sonic sunglasses, an electric guitar and his 'attack eyebrows'...
This box contains the following unpainted pewter miniatures: The Twelfth Doctor, Clara Oswald, Madame Vastra, Jenny Flint, Strax and 5 plastic bases for use in the Into the Time Vortex game.

Mad Dogs With Guns
Wargames Rules in the Gangster Era
By Osprey Publishing
In 1919, the US Government declared the production, distribution, and sale of alcohol illegal. America officially became a ‘dry' land. That didn't stop people from drinking, however, and the rise of the ‘speakeasy' offered huge new opportunities for organized crime. Soon, cities both large and small became battlegrounds as various crime syndicates vied for control of the underground alcohol trade. In Mad Dogs With Guns, players form their own small gangs of fedora-wearing, tommy gun-wielding gangsters and battle it out with their rivals. With numerous different gangs to choose from, including cops and G-men, a fully integrated campaign system, and rules for special situations such as car chases, the game offers a huge variety of tactical challenges. Bribe public officials, attend a gangland funeral, but always watch your back - there is always another gang waiting to poach your territory…

Saipan: The Bloody Rock
1-4 players, ages 13+, 120-2100+ minutes
By Compass Games
The decision to invade The Marianas (of which Saipan is a part) was not an easy one. General MacArthur still favored the more westerly route through the Philippines and had support amongst the Joint Chiefs of Staff. It took several conferences and nearly a year before the decision was made. There were several reasons that the Americans finally decided to invade the Marianas: Firstly, it was the most direct route to Japan, Secondly, they could base B29 bombers there which could bomb Tokyo, Thirdly, Saipan would be the first piece of prewar Japanese soil taken during the war. Lastly, the American planners hoped that they could draw the Japanese fleet into a decisive engagement. With all these reasons, a battle for the Marianas was inevitable.
On 15th June 1944 71,000 American Marines and Infantry attempted to make the plan work. 32,000 dug-in Japanese attempted to stop them.
Saipan – The Bloody Rock will be the first game to utilize the new Company Scale System (CSS) by Adam Starkweather and will come on 2 maps. This will be your chance to experience a full-on naval invasion as Amtracs and DUKWs head towards the emplaced forces of Imperial Japan.
The game will come with 4 scenarios and 2 campaign games.

There are over twenty scenarios that cover portions of the war with playing times from 30 minutes (mini Theater scenario), 45 minutes (6 years of the war), 90 minutes (a decade of war), and then there are the three long scenarios that cover the 1st Peloponnesian War, 2nd Peloponnesian War plus the Campaign game. Distant Lands
Manoeuvre Expansion Set
By GMT Games
The regiment had fought countless battles across the European continent. War had been waged in Bavaria against the Prussians, Catalonia against the Spaniards, under the great pyramids against the relentless Turk and even at New Orleans against those upstart Americans. Now new challengers have arisen and a completely foreign army is arrayed across the battlefield. The Tri-Color fluttered in the breeze as rocket shells burst in the air. A new type of warfare was about to be unleashed.
Manoeuvre: Distant Lands is an expansion for Manoeuvre. Four new armies are included to allow you to bring the fight from the frozen north to the sub-continent and the mythic east. Included in this set are counters and cards for Sweden, the splintered Kingdoms of India, the Chinese 8-Banner Army and the crumbling remains of the Japanese Shogunate. Also included is a set of 8 new land tiles that will force veteran players to learn new tactics among the swamps and fields of the Orient as well as the forests of Scandanavia.

The Second Great War
Sourcebook
By Avalanche Press
In November 1916, the freshly-reelected U.S. President Woodrow Wilson renewed his earlier attempts to mediate a peace between the warring European powers. On December 18th Wilson sent identical notes to the warring powers asking them to state their conditions for peace, and later offered to mediate a settlement. The warring sides rejected his offer.
Wilson’s failure marked the last chance for a negotiated peace to end the Great War before one side collapsed. What if he had succeeded? What if the First Great War had come to an end in December 1916, sparing the lives of millions and uncountable destruction?
The Second Great War is a sourcebook describing the world of Wilson’s Peace, one in which the great empires of Eastern Europe - Germany, Austria-Hungary, Russia and the Ottoman Empire – survived for another generation. In this alternative reality, war returned to Europe in 1940 as the vengeful authoritarian regimes in France, Italy and Russia unleash aggressive war against the prosperous social democracies of Germany, Austria and Poland. That background forms the setting for our Second Great War at Sea series.

This system relies heavily on what all RPGs should, trust between GM and players.

Ilios
2-4 players, ages 8+, 15-50+ minutes
By Playford Games
ATTACK RAID SURROUND
Troy circa 1200 BCE
Your destiny lies in your hands, as you stand before the ancient city of Troy, known to the ancient Greeks as Ilios. Attack, raid, surround and defend in campaigns between the Greeks and the Trojans found in Homer’s epic tale “The Iliad.”
