New RPG podcast

Well, I am downloading it now.

Comment about the website - I use Firefox 1.04 and it appears as if the Menu items are overlapping one another. Was this on purpose?

Next question - you planning on staying with covering only d20 games, or are you willing to branch out to other games systems/companies as well?

We have submitted it to iTunes, but it seems that Apple is taking roughly 2-3 weeks in some cases to get the "Indy" podcasts listed. Corporate podcasts go in immediately, of course...

We briefly mention it in the first podcast, but the main reason we focus on d20 is because that is what we have had the most experience with. However, we have also played a number of other Role Playing Systems, including White Wolf, Amber, Shadowrun, MERPS, and several others. We haven't played many other systems lately because our wives (ahem!) refuse to learn any other rules systems.

So we are very interested in talking to people from non-d20 systems.

I'm glad people are listening to the podcast and enjoying it. We're putting another one together this weekend that, barring any unforseen problems, should go online Sunday night.

EDIT: And, yes, we know about the issues in Firefox. We are going to have to go in and fix the CSS so that it will look the same in Firefox and Explorer. Thanks for the tip, though.

I just wanted to add that I downloaded the program and listened to it on the way to work this afternoon. I have to say, I was a bit skeptical, but it was very interesting and entertaining. I think the show definitely could have benefited from a bit more planning and prep-work, but I understand its the first episode and I'm already looking forward to the next episode.

I do have an idea for a segment that would take advantage of the podcast/audio media: how about a "how do you pronounce _____"? segment? You can find plenty of discussion of the various forms of pronounciation of hard-to-pronounce D&D terms and monsters on these boards for instance. Maybe you guys could put to rest the old drow pronounciation debate ;)

Just for you, we included a skit based on the "How do you pronounce Drow" debate in this week's podcast (Episode 2) which is now available at www.dragonslanding.com. If you don't find it absolutely hilarious... well, then, you can blame me, 'cause I wrote it. :)
