New series from Family Guy creator

Well, having both box sets myself, I have to agree that Family Guy is one of my favorite animated series. But it was because of Seth MacFarlane as well as the two main writers Mike Barker and Matt Weitzman that made that show. Untill I see proof that this new series is going to blow, I'll still give them the benifit of the doubt. One can only hope....

Y'know, for all the fussing we do about Fox's propensity to kill good shows, (I'm including myself in the fussing), a thought hit me today:

How many other channels besides Fox and UPN even take a CHANCE on this kind of programming?

Very darned few. ABC, CBS, and NBC are constantly airing the 257th recombination of Survivor/Friends/BigBrother/AreUHot, and couldn't give a darn less about something smart, funny, and appealing to anything beyond mass audiences. The above "F" shows may be dead, but they at least saw a clapper board go "slam." :)
Amen to that. Better some than none

Hey, NBC dosen't just run Survivor wannabees... they're also running about 20 different sitcoms that all have the same premise: Young single twentysomethings living in New York City.
