In an effort to allow sorcerers to use metamagic feats a little more easily, how about this feat:
Metamagic Mastery
You can cast a metamagic'd feat as a standard action
Prerequisite: Any 1 metamagic feat
Benefit: You can apply Metamagic Mastery to any spell cast with a metamagic feat to cast it as fast as if there were no metamagic feats applied. A spell with a casting time of 1 action or any other casting time would be the same. The feat is of much more use to bards and sorcerers than other spellcasters. A Metamagic Mastery spell uses up a spell slot one ligher higher than the spell's actual level.
Normal: A bard or sorcerer casting a metamagic'd spell with 1 action would take a full-round action, or higher casting times would take an extra round to cast.
