"New" Star Wars DVD box set to be released December 6

Somehow I have a hunch lucas will release the untouched original trilogy in a few years once the new trilogy cash cow is hamburger.

Likley in one big box set with the new trilogy at a $200+ price point.

In any event, is there any reliable word on getting a boxed set of Eps. 1, 2 & 3, with a possible 4th disc of special material?

Other than some quite talkings about this back before RotS was out in theaters...not at the moment, no.

That would suck, seeing as how the individual movies have a second disc fo special features.

Now I suspect there will be package deal with a slip case that will just be the three movie dvd sets, similar to what New LIne did for LotR. After all the same thing was done for Ep1&2 when Ep2 was released.

Just keep in mind there is nothing special about this other than a slipcase.
